Call for Papers
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The 32nd International Conference on Plastic Optical Fibers (POF 2024) will be held at Keio University Mita Campus, Tokyo, Japan, on November 11 – 13, 2024. The conference will feature the latest developments and advances in a large range of plastic optical fibers, technologies, and their integration for a variety of applications.
Authors are required to submit an abstract at least 200 words and no more than 500 words on any of the topics below. The language of the Conference is English, and all presentations should be in English. Please prepare an abstract following the GUIDELINES FOR PREPARATION OF ABSTRACT below.

GUIDELINES FOR PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS
- Abstracts must be prepared in English and only be submitted through Paper submission page on the website.
- Abstracts should be categorized into any of followings: containing original papers and results that have not been presented previously, description of new technical contributions, or applied papers which describe new applications and advances.
- The abstract should state clearly the scope of the contribution, and should concentrate on essential results.
- Please prepare an abstract min. 200 words max. 500 words excluding title & authors.
- Authors should indicate their preferred method of presentation either oral or poster.
- Authors should indicate max. 5 keywords in the “Keywords” field.
- You can modify and resubmit your abstract anytime on the Paper submission page, but it must be before the submission deadline.
- The presenting author must register for the conference when received an acceptance notice.

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION
You need to submit two items.
(1) 2-4 pages of camera-ready manuscript (PDF)
(2) Signed copyright transfer agreement (PDF)

Please prepare a manuscript (at least 2 pages and no more than 4 pages) using MANUSCRIPT TEMPLATE which can be downloaded here on this page.

The International Cooperative of Plastic Optical Fibers (ICPOF) holds the copyright of all material presented at POF2024.
A copyright transfer agreement form (PDF) is available on this page.
Authors are required to submit the signed copyright transfer agreement together with camera-ready manuscript via the paper submission system on the website.

Please click “Manuscript Submission” button on this page which brings you to the log-in page for the paper submission system where you can upload your camera-ready manuscript (max.5MB) and signed copyright transfer agreement in PDF format.

Before you submit your paper, please carefully proof-read the manuscript to minimize typographical, grammatical, bibliographical errors and make sure it is properly formatted.
Please be noted that we will not accept a manuscript unless accompanied by the copyright transfer agreement on which your signature be given.
